I needed to get on here to make a simple flow chart, and I had to click through enough data gathering modals that I said out loud “if you put one more thing on the screen I’m going to lose my mind”, and then it did and now I’m here.
Egregiously, most of this did not have a simple “x” in the corner for me to rapidly communicate that I’m not interested in interacting with the modal and wish to proceed to using the tool itself. I’m sure people find use in each of these individual features, but combined the effect is detrimental.
