It would be great to have out of the box a Shape Library for Databricks.

Hi, I'm Kat on Lucid's product team. Thanks so much to everyone here for such detailed feedback - it's clear you're using Lucid in really thoughtful ways! Right now, this isn't a priority on our roadmap, but certainly could be in the future, and your comments here are helpful for us. Please feel free to continue sharing more about what you'd like to see in this experience - we're listening!

Definitely. Found this idea because I was searching and expecting to find it already!

Please make this happen.  Our users would love to have Lucid ERDs for our Databricks environment.

Databricks has unique nomenclature and objects that are not easily covered by other existing shapes.  The things that I would be looking for in particular are catalogs, all purpose compute, serverless compute, SQL Warehouses, volumes, workspaces etc. When explaining databricks architecture to stakeholders like security and executive leadership, these icons will help us properly communicate our access policies.

Thank you for your feedback @snorthern and @Ashfaq!

As a workaround, while I know it may not be ideal, you can create your own custom shape library from the Shapes panel under More Shapes and My Libraries.

You can also import SVG files or Visio stencil files as Lucid will generate a shape library from the imported file. Please see the following documentation for more details on those solutions:

As a more advanced alternative, Lucid provides a developer framework to build fully custom shape libraries.

Databricks is a $130B+ data and AI leader and a top IPO candidate that could become one of the largest software listings ever. leaving it out makes modern architectures feel incomplete next to AWS and Azure. please include:)
