Request for Supporting the Export of BPMN models as XML file with .bpmn extension

Currently we can model a BPMN workflow within Lucidchart but we cannot export it as the industry standard BPMN file ( and XML file with .bpmn file extension).

It will be highly desirable for us, if Lucidchart can support the export of a BPMN model as BPMN file.

When a BPMN model is documented with sufficient details (E.g., a Level 3 diagram), leading BPMN execution engines such as Flowable, Camnuda etc, can directly take the models exported from Lucidchart and enable implementing the documented business process.

Thus a model of understanding from Lucidchart can easily be realized as a model for execution, if Lucidchart can support the export of a BPMN standard diagram as the standard BPMN file.

This is a known limitation include the inability to export BPMN diagrams as .bpmn XML files, restricting its value for organizations seeking to integrate process modeling with BPMN engine execution.

While BPMN 2.0 import is on the horizon, users continue to await export functionality, which remains a top request without a confirmed release date.
