Hi,

I noticed recently that you have enabled AI. I find the feature extremely annoying both in that it keeps popping up automagically but also in the canvas it is present and distracting and there you can’t remove it. Also I do not really wish to train an AI (whatever the kind it is)

I am paying for a personal account that does not give me an option to disable AI, as you have for team users.

Would it be possible to implement such an option for normal users?

For an instructor in a class with the educational suite license, it is difficult for me to allow students to use this platform if AI access allows them to circumvent thinking when completing the concept map assignments. Instead of using their knowledge to create new maps that represent their current understanding of concepts, students are clicking buttons and validating what has been shown them. Not the “create” activity that creates and reinforces knowledge.

The AI must be optional for an instructor to dictate when and where students should use this component.

This feature NEEDS to be disableable! Teachers not being able to switch this off completely undermines the ability for us to use Lucid for brainstorming.

Please fix this asap! Lucid has become a staple of my classroom and I’m relying on the ability to switch AI off for my kids.

This is a major issue for teachers whose school’s do not pay for the enterprise account which would allow AI to be turned off for our students. Right now, my students are being prompted to use AI to write their brainstorming questions in LucidSpark. There needs to be a toggle for teachers to turn of AI or your tool is completely useless in a classroom setting!
