Thanks to everyone for the thoughts in this thread. I’m on the Product team here at Lucid and will be starting up some research soon around how people like to work with markup languages such as Plant UML and Mermaid and what an ideal experience would look like. If would be interested in a conversation, please respond in this thread, and I'll reach out with more information!

I am 100% aligned with the ask. So, in my org we have a setup with LeanIX and Lucid chart and I would love to have support for plantUml. I know we have support for mermaid, however I do not find mermaid as intuitive as plantUml (Take a simple request, you cannot write notes in multiple lines in mermaid, you have to use markup convention <br/>, that is not friendly).

Hello,

An implementation of PlantUML into LucidChart would be really great and appreciated for my team.

What is the update on that issue ?

Thanks in advance,

Guitch

Hi Lucid team,

At StoneX, we are big fans of Lucid. We would like very much to be able to use PlantUML syntax as it speeds up prototyping and updating certain classes of diagrams. At the moment, we are forced to keep these diagrams outside of Lucid, which is really not ideal.

Thanks,

Anton.
