I love the dropdown list feature but I dont want it to always show the options as it blocks everything behind it. Is there a way to hide the options until the dropdown is clicked on or do these always show if populated?

Hiding dropdown options for Select Box shape in UI Input library
Basically I am wondering if I can collapse the dropdown after filling it in so the options do not show unless activated. Otherwise the options block the other features I have created below the dropdown. Thank you!

Thanks for attaching that screenshot! Unfortunately there is not currently a way to collapse the Select Box shape. However we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread.
