Hi – I want to be able to access my Lucidchart files via Slack, the same way Slack will let me search/open/share my Google Suite files. I see that there is some basic file sharing integration with Slack, but I want more integration.

Hi @Zoe H102, thanks for your post! Unfortunately, this isn’t currently supported in Lucid, but we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our products. If you’re willing to share, we’d love to hear more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience within this thread. I’ve also converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others within the Product Feedback section of the community - from here, they can upvote it and add details of their own.

Finally, for more information on how Lucid manages feedback via this community, take a look at this post:

Thank you for sharing your feedback and ideas in the community. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Thank you, @Leianne C . Slack gives employees (including mine: Salesforce) the ability to scan through our conversations, shares, files, etc. – by both manually looking around, and even more importantly now, with AI searching. With Google’s suite, I can within Slack ask it to find any file with XXX name, and other such things. The searching tool built into Lucid leaves much to be desired – and I would love to be able to stay in Slack and ask it to pull up any Lucidchart file of mine that had XXX in the name (or even better, text within a file too) – and then pull up those results, which I could then share with a colleague. Slack is becoming so ubiquitous that having direct functionality like this would be a huge benefit to many corporate customers, I’m sure!
