Until recently our company had an on-prem hosted instance of Atlassian Confluence. On that instance a version of the Lucid chart plug-in was installed that provided a full-screen option (meaning there is a button at the bottom of the diagram to optionally display in full-screen). Then we switched to a cloud-hosted instance of Confluence and the version of the Lucid chart plug-in installed there does NOT have a full-screen option.

This is extremely frustrating as it becomes very cumbersome to present non-trivial diagrams in screen sharing sessions. I need to zoom into the diagram in a small "viewbox" and then pan around.

I can't find the place anymore where I can suggest improvements to Lucid chart. Anyone any ideas?

Hi @christoph w thank you for posting in the community you're in the right place to share your feedback! Thanks for taking the time to let us know this is important to you - I have passed the request on to our Product Development Team.

For anyone with a similar request we'd love to learn more about your particular use case and what you'd like to see in this experience. Thank you!

Same request as Christopher W after our migration to cloud instance of Atlassian Confluence. The lack of fullscreen possibility is missing a lot. For users in confluence without lucid account it is big step back to not be able to see the chart in full screen.

Hi @lennyboras,

Thanks for following up on this thread and upvoting this idea! While this isn’t currently supported in our Confluence Cloud app, we’re very interested in your feedback and committed to continually improving our integrations. I went ahead and converted this post to an idea so that it’s visible to others users within the Product Feedback section of the community. this way, they can also upvote it and add details of their own.

If you’re willing to share more details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience, please feel free to add it to this thread.

And if you’d like to learn more about how Lucid manages feedback via this community, please take a look at this post:

same issue. Cant make meaningful interpretation of lucid charts within confluence.

Agree with previous comments.  Large and complex diagrams need more space in order to be useful when presenting to an audience.  When we had the on-prem version, I was able to pop out the full screen and then close to get right back to where I was on the Confluence page.  The lack of a full screen option requires me toggling back and forth from Confluence to the Lucidchart diagram within Ludichart itself which is not ideal.

+1 for this request. I can not figure out how to see a lucidchart diagram on a confluence page in any bigger form then a relatively small iFrame type. This  renders the chart useless for reference.

Thank you all for the additional feedback! We encourage anyone else who’s interested in this to upvote this post and share any additional details about your use case or what you’d like to see in this experience.

Hello. Another +1 from me as well. Having different user pool in Confluence and Lucid is an issue, and usually with larger graphs the small widget is unusable.

This is a reason for instance why I was considering an alternative. The most used on Confluence app/plugin for diagrams has this fullscreen overlay feature which is very cool.

@boguslaw, Thank you for providing your input!

Lucid Chart with Confluence Cloud - the diagram size is way to small.  Needs “fill single page option” as well as “pop out full screen”.

Hi @Ben Conrad, thank you for contributing to this thread and providing that additional feedback! The best way to show support for this idea is to upvote this post.

Please add the fullscreen option back. Lucid diagrams are practically unusable when screen sharing / viewing large or complex diagrams.

In order to see the entire diagram, it has to be placed into edit mode.  Does Lucid expect everyone viewing to have edit rights (which requires permissions and a license)?  That’s crazy.

upvoting this one

Hi Ambar, for me, it’s just general usability.
For example, I created a LucidChart, and used the Confluence plugin to put it into my page.  I would love to have option to make it full screen, without having to leave Wiki.  Trying to do it in the box that is provided is cumbersome, and amending the pixels of the Lucid widget manually is also time consuming, and still doesn’t get me what I want.

Hi @dkaneni, I can certainly understand how this would impact your workflow. Thank you for sharing your feedback for our product teams!

Thanks Ambar - if there was an easy way to auto-fit to full-screen, I think lots of users would utilise that.

@dkaneni I can absolutely see how this would be useful! Thank you again for your comments. Our product teams will continue to review this feedback as they research more enhancements.
