Hello team,
It seems that the browser handling of pen inputs on Firefox doesn’t work quite right when attempting to freehand draw in Lucidspark.
Expected behavior:
- Pressing the stylus down on the canvas draws.
Actual behavior:
- Pressing the stylus down draws a single dot, then it “grabs” the canvas and goes into move mode.
I have tested with Chrome and Firefox, it works perfectly fine on Chrome, but it does not work on Firefox. Given that the Lucidspark and Lucidchart are “fully supported” on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, this seems like a bug in the pen input handling on Firefox specifically, and it impedes my ability to use the software.
I have provided _extensive_ testing around this issue on this question thread, please see it for more details. I was told this is not “bug” but rather a “feature request” and to come here to post the “idea” to fix something that used to work, and that works just fine in other browsers.
