Is there any way to export a file with the notes I have saved in each shape?

Hi Austin

Thanks for posting! To clarify are you referring to notes as describes in the Add Notes to Your Diagram Video? If so it is not possible to export your document to include these notes. I recommend typing the text directly into your shape if you would like to export it.

Please let me know if you are referring to something different or if you have any further questions.

@annika w101 We miss this feature as well. We would like to use Lucidchart to sketch business flows/algorithms which both have the human and the machine view meaning we have short human readable description of the shapes inside the shape and would like to have programmatic conditions/actions defined in notes.

The UI works wonderfully for this approach the only problem is we can't get the notes out of the system (both in CSV export but I don't see it in the Graph API doc).

Could you please consider adding this feature? It shouldn't be hard to do on your end (the data is there everything is in place) but would make the application a lot more usable for tasks like this.

How come there is only 3 upvotes on this topic. if you are using the note in a shape you should be able to export said notes with the shape or have the ability to have them attach at the end and reference the shape they were attached too.
