Just like MS Excel’s “Move or Copy” feature, users should be able to either move or copy Lucid Chart tabs from one file to another…

  1. Right-Click a tab.
  2. Select “Move or Copy”.
  • If “Move,” prompt user with a “To file” option.
  • If “Copy,” prompt user with a “Create Copy” option.
  1. Select the target file.
  2. Click “OK”.
  3. Tab is moved/copied based on previous selection.
  4. END

Love this idea!  I do this manually now and this would be a great time saver!

If I try to copy the content from one tab to another file, the formatting is wonky (for example, the text is white instead of black). This would ideally resolve this issue.

Hi @SeanDickson, thanks for adding your feedback to this thread!

I’d like to verify what you’re experiencing to see if it’s something we can help with. Would you mind confirming how you’re transferring your content from your tab? Are you going into your tab, copying all of your content, and pasting into a brand new document? Or another tab within the same document?
