Can .xmi files be imported into Lucid?

@Micah B  Lucid's feature request form is proving to be a waste of time.  I have made this and other requests to improve Lucidchart.  But there is no response; not even an acknowedgement / reference to the request.  It goes into a black hole and appears to stay there.   This is my most frustrating customer experience with this product.

You've shared great feedback with us in the last few months about smart containers data import and mirroring diagrams and I'm sorry that this has been such a frustrating user experience for you. I can assure you that feedback submitted via that form is regularly reviewed in conjunction with our product roadmaps but improving the way that we manage user feedback within this community is high priority for me. You mentioned that acknowledgement of the request would be beneficial as well as better insight into what happens next - I certainly understand this! If you have additional thoughts about your community and feedback sharing experiences that you feel would make a difference I would absolutely love to hear them in this thread.

@Micah B your honest response and apology is appreciated.  I hope that Lucid can indeed ensure a much better experience for its use community as these improvement recommendations can make a huge difference to the uptake up your product.   In the case of an XMI import there is a big opportunity for Lucid to complement the Sparx EA architecture tool that many companies use.  Sparx EA does not have the user friendly diagramming output capability that Lucidchart has so being able to import an XMI that has been generated out of Sparx would make a very strong use case for Lucidchart as an extension to our architecture tool.   This can be compared with how the Orbus architecture tool uses Visio as its frontend.

Absolutely Ron this is highly important to us as is your insight into using our products. We hope that you will continue to share your experiences with us and stay tuned for improvements to this process in the future. 

Thanks for expanding on what would be impactful for an XMI import and your specific use case - this detail is so helpful and I've gone ahead and I've noted it alongside other UML and XMI import feedback.
