Last April, we expanded Lucid’s vision as a work acceleration platform powered by visual collaboration. Now, we’re continuing to support users through large-scale initiatives, such as process improvement, agility workflows, and AI transformation.

We’re delighted to announce new capabilities to keep accelerating your business forward!

Lucid AI

Newly announced, Lucid AI builds on intelligent capabilities to help teams maximize efficiency in their work.

Lucid AI gives users a unified interface with an AI assistant that can help you:

  • Generate ideas for easy brainstorming.
  • Create diagrams directly on the Lucid canvas and refine them.
  • Apply conditional formatting to save time.
  • Summarize document contents.

Assisted layout

Assisted layout automatically aligns shapes within swimlanes, Containers, and Frames to create a more organized workspace.

New assisted layout features have just been announced, including the ability to:

  • Manually resize containers
  • Add or remove empty rows and columns
  • Add shapes that span multiple cells
  • Nest containers

Newly supported databases for ERD import and export

We’re excited to now offer our most requested vendors in an effort to simplify the process of creating and exporting ERD diagrams.

Lucid now supports these additional databases:

  • Snowflake
  • Amazon Redshift
  • Azure SQL
  • Databricks
  • Google BigQuery

Process Accelerator

Just launched in August, the Process Accelerator provides organizations with increased governance and standardization in how processes are documented, stored, and maintained.

Using the Process Accelerator, you can:

  • Store official company documentation in repositories.
  • Streamline changes with approval workflows.
  • Speed up process improvement with an asset library.

Agility Accelerator

The Agility Accelerator helps organizations share proven ways of working, surface qualitative insights, and visualize potential plans to determine the best path to value.

What’s new?

  • Improvements to capacity planning will help to visualize planned work across multiple teams in a timeline format as estimates that are automatically distributed across the planned time range.
  • Scenario planning helps to create new alternative scenarios by pausing the sync between Lucid and Jira or Azure DevOps. Once a final plan is chosen, it can be synced back to your system of record.
