As we shared last month, the Lucid team continuously makes small but impactful updates to improve your experience in the Lucid Suite—and we’re still going! Here’s a summary of the most recent updates designed to make interactions within Lucid more intuitive and efficient:

Organizer drop zones: Move shapes around drop zones more precisely, thanks to a tidier view.

Editing empty Frame titles: Double-click an empty Frame to see text options and add a title.

Wrapping pasted text: Copy and paste text on a Lucid canvas, and it will automatically wrap at 65 characters for an optimal viewing experience.

Profile shapes: Add profile shapes to custom shape banks and shape libraries.

Text blocks grow with text alignment: Begin typing in a text block, and it will expand based on alignment settings (e.g., left align, center align, right align).

Consistent fonts when pasting text: Eliminate the need to manually adjust formatting when pasting text into auto-resizing text boxes.

Can you show what the organizer drop zones are more accurately please. All I see are four sticky notes inside of the dynamic table feature...I don’t understand….Is this feature also exclusive to the dynamic table feature???

Hi @patrickpereira1988, my apologies for any confusion here. To clarify, organizer drop zones are available in dynamic tables, timelines, and mind maps.

In the example below, this feature helps to more accurately place the sticky notes in the dynamic tables exactly where I want them to be.

You’ll notice that as I drag the brown sticky note into the dynamic table, a faint grid appears. One side of the grid is highlighted a darker purple as you approach it. That highlighted section indicates where the sticky note will be magnetized to/placed next to when dropped into the dynamic table.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions, happy to help here!

these are exciting updates. thank you for sharing.
