Does LucidChart support Event Tree Analysis (ETA)? Is there any ETA module available for my company to buy?

Hey there

My company plans to apply Event Tree Analysis (ETA) as an additional risk analysis technique on top of the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). I know LucidChart supports FTA and we've brought FTA templates already.

I was wondering if LucidChart supported Event Tree Analysis (ETA)? Is there any ETA module available for my company to buy?

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community! While we currently do not have a predesigned Event Tree Analysis template we do have available tree analysis templates to use and you should be able to create or import a ETA through Lucidchart as long as it is prepared in the supported formats.

Lucidchart does not currently offer a dedicated Event Tree Analysis (ETA) module or template for purchase. While it supports Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) with ready-made templates, there is no equivalent ETA feature in its product lineup.

However, you can still perform ETA manually using Lucidchart's standard flowchart shapes—rectangles for events and lines for success/failure branches. Once built, you can save your diagram as a custom template for future reuse across your team.

If a built-in ETA tool is essential, you may need specialized risk analysis software instead.
