Advanced Lucid AI controls: Customize your organization’s AI experience

This article explains how to use Advanced Lucid AI controls to customize and maintain granular control over your organization's Lucid AI experience. These advanced settings are part of our Enterprise Shield add-on, but we are giving all Enterprise accounts free access to try them for 90 days.

What are Advanced Lucid AI controls?

Lucid AI empowers teams to foster creativity, boost productivity, and achieve more in less time. While the primary Enable Lucid AI toggle allows you to turn AI capabilities on or off for your entire organization, Advanced Lucid AI controls offer granular oversight.

With these advanced controls, you can customize which AI features your organization has access to. During this trial, you can test granular governance for features such as:

• Enable Process Capture: Process Capture is a built-in screen recording tool that documents a user's workflow in real time and utilizes Lucid AI to generate an editable process diagram in seconds.

Note: Lucid’s AI capabilities are currently available to all users but may be subject to a paid subscription model in the future.

How the Advanced AI Control 90-day trial works

The 90-day trial allows you to evaluate granular governance over individual AI features. Here is what you need to know about the trial process:

• Zero Risk—No Automatic Billing or Upgrades: There is no financial commitment required to test these advanced controls, and you do not need to enter any payment information. You will not be automatically billed or upgraded to Enterprise Shield when the trial ends. It is completely free for 90 days.
• Per-Account Timeline: The 90-day trial window is account-wide. It begins for your entire organization the moment an administrator clicks Start free trial. To help you track your timeline, we will provide helpful in-product notifications and a countdown as your trial approaches its expiration date.
• Upgrading to Enterprise Shield: During or after your trial, you will have the option to purchase the Enterprise Shield add-on. Doing so ensures that any customized advanced AI configurations you set during the trial are immediately preserved and honored. In addition, upgrading unlocks the complete suite of Enterprise Shield’s advanced governance, compliance, and security features for your organization.
• What happens if the trial ends without a purchase? If you choose not to purchase Enterprise Shield by the end of the 90 days, your advanced AI controls will simply reset to match your primary Lucid AI status:
  • If your primary Enable Lucid AI switch is ON, all advanced AI controls will reset to ON.
  • If your primary Enable Lucid AI switch is OFF, all advanced AI controls will reset to OFF.

How to get started

If you are an account owner or account admin on an Enterprise account, you can manage these settings directly from your admin panel:

1. Navigate to the Lucid Admin Panel.
2. Select Lucid AI from the left-hand navigation menu, then scroll to the Advanced AI controls section.
3. To test these advanced AI controls, click Start free trial and agree to initiate your organization's 90-day trial.
