we have the lucid chart addon for confluence and one of our users is not able to edit the document after inserting it into a page. he gets the error “Unfurled link macros do not support editing. Try reinserting the macro using the document picker to be able to edit.”

using the document picker to insert the diagram does not help.

user would like to increase the height of the chart but is unable to make any edits.

Hi @nleksander,

Thank you for posting in the Community! Can you provide more details on the issue the user is experiencing once the document is inserted through the document picker? Please provide the following information:

  • A screenshot of the issue when trying to edit the diagram (if possible)
  • A screenshot of your browser’s JavaScript Console after reproducing the issue

    • Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + Shift + J

    • Mac: Press Cmd + Option + J

Thanks for your help looking into this further.

Hi @nleksander,

Thanks for following up. Can you confirm that the Owner of the document or a user with Edit/Share access is embedding this document through the document picker? Please refer to our Lucid Help Center article on how to add documents to a Confluence page

Hi @aishakhan ,

yes the owner of the document in lucid chart is the user that is trying to update the marco in confluence (and they are the owner of the page in confluence)

Regards,

Niel
