I’m the admin of my org. We have a user who has left and we want to transfer ownership of a Lucidchart document to another user. I don't think I can do this even as an admin or it's not clear to me how. His account hasn't been deleted yet.

https://help.lucid.co/hc/en-us/articles/360049435952-Transfer-Lucid-documents - I think this article only explains how the owner of the document can share it with others, but since the owner has left and we don’t have their login details, we are stuck.

Please help. Thanks

Hi @nachoman, thank you for following up! Would you mind sharing a brief description of how you are accessing the document in question? Was this document originally shared with you?

Please note that only Account owners, document admins, and Shield admins can use the Discovery feature to search, view, and edit sharing permissions for all documents owned by your account. If you have one of these admin roles, you can get to the Documents and folders admin panel page by following these steps:

  1. Select Admin.
  2. Click Compliance in the left-hand menu.

If you are looking to transfer ownership of ALL documents owned by the user, I would recommend using the  ‘Delete user’ option outlined in this Help Center article.

I hope this helps! Please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi @nachoman, thank you for posting in the community! If you are an admin on a Team/Enterprise account, you should have the option to delete a user and transfer the ownership of their documents to another user on your account. For more details, please check out the ‘Delete user’ section of this Help Center article.

Alternatively, the Account Owner or Document admins of an Enterprise account can also search the documents in your organization’s account using the Discover feature in the Admin Panel. From the search results, they document ownership to another user.

I hope this helps! Please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi @Leianne C , the below ‘discover’ feature you mean? Tried it but couldn’t find the document after running a search. How do I find out what the file I’m accessing is called? If I click the link to it, it takes me to the below page but doesn’t give me the name:
