Been having a problem for the last couple of weeks. Use the /lucid macro. The dialog appears, remains totally white and then disappears with the following error being shown:

This happens consistently. Existing diagrams show but I can’t add new ones. Any ideas?

Hello @alan.lambert, thank you for posting in the Lucid community! Could you try embedding your Lucid diagram via this flow:

  1. Open the page you want to add a Lucid document to.
  2. Click Edit from the upper-right corner.
  3. Click the + icon from the formatting bar at the top of the page.
  4. In the menu that appears, type “Lucid” in the search bar.

  5. Select Lucidchart DiagramsLucidscale Models, or Lucidspark Boards.
    • If the document you are adding is in a repository, you need to open that repository before moving to the next step. Click Repositories from the navigation on the left side, then select the specific repository.
  6. Select the thumbnail of the document you want to insert and click Continue.
    • You can also create a new document from the Docs list by clicking + New in the top-left corner. If you create a new document, it will open in the Lucid editor before displaying on your Confluence page.
  7. Choose from the following access settings that will be available directly in Confluence:
    • Edit: Users can edit the embedded Lucid document.
    • Comment only: Users can view and comment on the embedded Lucid document.
    • View only: Users can only view the embedded Lucid document.
  8. Click Insert in the bottom-right corner of your Confluence page.
  9. Click Update in the top-right corner of your Confluence page.
