Microsoft SSO fails to link new email domain

I have a user that did not have an account in our Lucid portal. He clicked on the Login with Microsoft button, went through the login process which includes federated redirect to Okta, and got logged into Lucid. However, his account is showing as “FREE” and is not getting linked properly to our Lucid account. Now we do have a different email domain now and I was able to manually add the new user with the new email address and that linked him successfully but I’d like to be able to do this without manual intervention.

Hi @Danni Lupisella

The Microsoft/Okta login is successfully authenticating the user, but authentication alone does not always create or assign the user to the managed Lucid account. Please verify that the new domain is permitted in Lucid and that the user is assigned to the Lucid application through Okta/Entra with SCIM provisioning enabled. This should automatically create and link the managed user instead of creating a separate Free account

Hope this helps !!

Hey @Humas1985,

How do I add the new domain in Lucid? Is that something I can do or does Lucid have to set it up on the backend?
