The logged on user is in the Intermodal_Team and should have access to “Edit up to 5 Lucidspark boards” but doesn’t get any Edit rights. This is the only Lucidspark board in the entire Organisational Group. What has gone wrong please.

Hi @jcundill, thank you for following up! I’m glad to hear my colleague was able to help you resolve the issue. Please let us know if you have any additional questions - we are happy to help!

For anyone reading this: A Guest Collaborator link will need to be generated in order for limited-access users to have edit access to a specific board. This counts towards the 5 editable Lucidspark boards. For more information about the capabilities of limited-access users, check out this Help Center article

OK so I think I answered, looks like I had loads of accidentally created LucidSpark boards in the Trash which I have now deleted.

Ok so no that didn’t work, DEFINITELY only 1 Lucidspark board exists and has EDIT level assigned but no EDIT rights to the user. Please help.

Hi @jcundill, thank you for your post! To confirm, is the collaborators view in the first screenshot for the Lucidspark board in question or for the Team Hub ‘ADMIN’?

Is it possible the user has already used up all 5 of their editable Lucidspark boards? Please see the screenshot below for an example message that is displayed when a limited-access user has used up their 5 boards.

Do they see the same message when they try to open the Lucidspark board in question and hover over the ‘Request license’ button?

Please let me know if that is not the case or if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hi,

Apologies for the late reply, but no, the user hasn’t used up any boards, I even tried on a brand new user and still despite having “EDIT” access they cannot contribute to the LucidSpark board. As well, when the user hovers over that option, nothing appear underneath it…..

Thanks.

James.

Just to be clear as well. All documents exist under the “ADMIN” Team Hub which only has 2 admin (licensed) users who will manage all the boards and access from there. Each document is then to be shared with other Teams with the appropriate access level for that team i.e. EDIT.

Thanks.

Oh and sorry to answer… “To confirm, is the collaborators view in the first screenshot for the Lucidspark board in question or for the Team Hub ‘ADMIN’? “

Its the “Manage collaborators” view of the individual LucidSpark Board.

And to be honest how would you even see the “Manage collaborators” for the entire Team Hub as I can only see this on Folders and indivdual Boards within the Team Hubs??

Thanks.

Zuzia from Support has helped me get around this issue, by adding a Shareable link to the Board I was able to give the level of access required.
