Hi, I have a personal account with the email/google sign in of my current work. I’m leaving this company, so I would not be able to have access to google SSO of this email. Will I still have access to this Lucid Chart account (Lucid subscription is until December 2026 ...)? If not how can I get a refund?

Hi @Josh, let's try a different approach. Please set up an email/password login using this link: password flow. If you don’t see the email shortly, be sure to check your spam folder. Once that's configured, try the "User Settings" flow again using your newly set up password.

Hi @LucidJosh, thanks for posting in the Lucid community! If you would like to keep your Lucid access after leaving your current company, we recommend updating the email/username of your user to your personal address. This can be done via the User Settings tab in your Account Settings.

Alternatively, if you would like to cancel your account, let me know and I can connect you with our billing team.

Hi @Becca G , thanks for the quick reply. I’ve have tried this, but get an error of incorrect password - perhaps I’m doing this wrong. So follow me here:

  1. Go to “User Settings”
  2. Under “Account Settings” I change both username & email to my personal email
  3. Because I use Google Account as SSO - I enter the google password “Required to make changes”
  4. → Error:  “Incorrect Password”. I have double checked and logged in again separately with Google using this password and it works there.

What am I doing wrong?
