We have a single Jira cloud site, but we support multiple Organizations. Each currently has it’s own Lucid Instance. We want to be able to allow diagrams from those lucid organizations to be attached to a ticket. Is this possible?
Hi
Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community!
You are able to connect multiple Jira instances to Lucid. The steps to achieve this are outlined here.
As for the following request:
We want to be able to allow diagrams from those lucid organizations to be attached to a ticket.
Would you mind elaborating a bit more on the ticket you would like to attach your Lucid diagrams to? Would you be linking a Lucid document to a Jira ticket?
Please let me know and I’d be happy to look further into this for you! Hope this helps!
Thanks for the reply. I don’t want to attach multiple Jira Instances to Lucid. I want to connect multiple Lucid Organizations to a single Jira instance. We have two groups, each has their own Lucid license (org?) but we share a single Jira instance (site).
We set up the jira plugin but only 1 group can attach lucid diagrams, the other group can’t. It returns a not authorized and I don’t see a way to add another lucid connection in the plug.
Does anyone know whether this is possible?
Hey
Thanks for clarifying. We currently only support one Lucid account per Jira instance. However, we are continuously looking for ways to improve our products and your input is the most effective way to achieve that goal. You can post new ideas in the Lucid Community and these ideas will be shared with our Product Development team for consideration. Before sharing your idea, please explore our community to find existing suggestions. Upvote or comment to voice your support, as all feedback is channeled through our community.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
Hannah, thanks for confirming! We’ve started discusses around consolidating our Lucid licenses so that will resolve our issue.
