I custom made an org chart with photos last week.  Today I am trying to add more photos and I’m not able to.  Is there a photo shape I should be using?

Hi @pdebitetto

Thanks for your post! There are different ways to add images to employee shapes:

  1.  You can import images with your dataset. If you’ve uploaded a Google Sheets dataset to generate your org chart, you can update the images in that file and then refresh your dataset to automatically apply changes from the linked Google Sheet to the Lucidchart org chart. You can find the steps in the Manage data section of our Create an Org Chart Help Center article.
  2. You can upload photos from your computer. You can find the steps in the Add photos section of our Create an Org Chart Help Center.
  3. You can drag and drop a downloaded image onto a selected employee shape. This will allow you to add one image at a time.
  4. You can add an image URL to an individual employee shape. You can also find the steps in the Add photos section of our Create an Org Chart Help Center.

☝️ Please note: The images URL must be from a public location or they won't display          properly. If you are using Google Drive links they must be public links.

I hope this helps! Please follow up in the comments below if you have any trouble following those steps!

Hi Flavia D,

I have the same problem...

I managed to upload 13 photos to my org chart but have problems to upload the last 9 photos of team members.

I checked the storage space - available

the size of the photos - matching to the others I already uploaded

and I switched between the different ways of uploading methods.

It is not working.

I would be grateful for help as it is really frustrating.

Thank you and kind regards!

Hi @JM services

Thanks for following up on this, and I’m sorry for the continued trouble!

Please send a screenshot of the issue and temporary Support PIN for your org chart so I can take a closer look at this! The PIN can be posted here because it can only be used by Lucid’s Support team. For more information on generating a Support PIN, check out this Help Center article

Hi @JM services

Thanks for sending that Support PIN. It seems like will need to take a closer look at the images you’re trying to upload to troubleshoot further. We’ll create a support ticket on your behalf so you can provide the images privately. We’ll troubleshoot one-on-one from that ticket. Thank you!

Hi Flavia D,

thank you for your fast response.

Where can I find the support ticket on my behalf?

Thank you and kind regards
