If a user selects 'request license' but does not complete the service desk form, does their request still show up as pending in the admin panel?

We have the request process configured as admin-controlled access and redirect user to service desk URL. Is it possible that a user clicks the “request license” button, then does not complete the service desk form, but that user still appears in the Pending Requests section of the User admin panel?

A few specific items to note: 

  • Pending license requests appear within Lucid even if licensing is handled in a different system.
  • Once a user is granted or denied a license, the pending license request is resolved automatically within Lucid.

I connecting with our product team on your specific question. I hope to have an answer to your shortly on whether you can expect to still see license requests under ‘Pending’ in the admin panel for those uses who selected ‘request license’ but did not complete the service desk form.
