Is there a way to turn off Giphy for student use? Students can access inappropriate content through the search tab.

Hi @MicGriff, thank you for posting in the community! Unfortunately there isn’t a way to limit image search access within the Lucidchart/Lucidspark editor. However, admins on Enterprise accounts can enable/disable the following functionality for all users on the account via the admin panel:

  • Bing image search (allows users to search for images)
  • Giphy image search (allows users to search for GIFs)
  • Icon Finder search (allow users to search for icons)

You can find this option by navigating to Admin Panel > Security > Sharing > Editor Experience

I hope this helps. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

Hi @MicGriff

There isn't a built-in way to completely turn off or restrict access to Giphy within Lucidchart.

Consider submitting a feature request to Lucidchart for more granular control over Giphy access.

We also look forward to hearing from other community members and associates, who may have alternative suggestions that could better address your requirements.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
