Hello,

I have a trial Lucid setup in the Fedramp tenant and am working on getting the SAML authentication working.

After importing the XML and testing the configuration (which works). I am trying to figure out how to make that available as an Auth option during the initial login.

Under Security,  Authentication, Allow SAML Authentication is checked.

What else is needed to make SAML auth available as an login option?

Hi @camKim, thank you for posting in the Lucid Community!

I can see that our support team and customer experience teams are getting you taken care of through a private support ticket. You can continue to expect a response to your email associated with your Lucid account from those teams, and I’d refer to that email for information regarding setting up SAML for your account.

I do apologize for any confusion in our documentation. If you have any further feedback you’d like to share about our Help Center articles, we would love to hear about your experience here so our teams can continue to improve upon our documentation.

To clarify, you don’t necessarily need to have domain control set up before SAML is set as the default authentication method.

@camKim I found a SAML guide for you. Even though it mentions Okta, I hope that it helps you too.

Thanks Aparrish, unfortunately it didn’t have what i was looking for. I am working with Lucid support and here is the detail that isn’t very clear in the documentation:

The use of SAML requires that domain control is enabled and active for the domain that you are trying setup SAML for.
