I needed to update my saml cert as it was about to expired. I did the following:

  • Copied my existing xml file by clicking “Edit” button on my existing Identity Provider on Note++
  • I updated the <ds:X509Certificate> nodes with the updated cert
  • Saved the file as an xml file
  • Added a new identity provider and uploaded the file
  • Tested the saml connection 

I get “invalid saml response” when I tested the connection. I’m using SecureAuth as my identity provider and worked with my SecureAuth engineer and we’re not able to figure out what is wrong.
