Hello, I am trying to use the Lucidchart Diagrams Connector app for confluence to try to convert many Gliffy charts within Confluence pages into Lucid charts. However, I am experiencing an issue. I am getting “Error 405: METHOD_NOTALLOWED, Request method “GET is not supported” whenever I try to run the convert app on a page. I have checked to ensure that the LucidChart user is set to have permissions. I also am on the latest version of Confluence Cloud and using Lucidchart Diagrams connector latest version. Thank you!

Hi @jensond399

Could you try converting a single Gliffy chart? This will help us determine whether the problem is caused by a connector or API limitation, rather than a setup or permissions issue.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards

@Humas1985 Thank you for the reply! Can you clarify what you mean by a single Gliffy chart? I have tried to go on a page that has one gliffy chart and click the three dots → apps → convert gliffy diagrams and nothing happens. Thank you!

Hi @jensond399

I meant creating a very simple test page in Confluence with just one small Gliffy diagram on it (not multiple or complex ones) and then running the conversion

The Diagrams Connector in Confluence is designed to convert single Gliffy diagrams on individual pages.

To learn more - Convert Gliffy to Lucidchart in Confluence – Lucid

  • Sounds, The connector does not support bulk conversion across multiple pages simultaneously
  • This limitation is causing the issues you're experiencing when trying to process multiple diagrams together, sometimes resulting in a 405 METHOD_NOTALLOWED error.

Try checking the connector on a single page with one Gliffy diagram, you can confirm whether the connector is working as expected or not.

Best Regards

@Humas1985 Thanks again for the reply, I have tried to have a page with nothing but one simple gliffy diagram and the tool does not work. Thank you!

Hi @jensond399

Thanks for the try.

Let's wait to hear from the internal team to explore on how to handle this situation.
