Hello, we have a number of users who have been inactive for >6 months. If I remove their licensed access (and let them keep the unlicensed access) will they still have the ability to access their documents they made or do those documents get deleted?
I would prefer to just remove their license and not transfer to another account and let the users still have access for historical data if needed.
Thanks!
Hi
If you are the account owner or admin on an Enterprise account, you can delicense a user and reassign their license to another user. The delicensed user will remain on the account as a limited-access user. To delicense a user, I recommend following these steps (scroll down to the ‘delicense a user’ section).
If you remove a user’s license, they become a limited-access user and you’ll need to transfer ownership of any documents. I recommend reviewing the Limited-access users on an Enterprise account article to learn more about what their access will look like.
Please let me know if you have any further questions here!
