Confluence integration is broken again

Starting from yesterday, we got error when adding a Lucidchart diagram to Confluence pages or editing the existing ones:

Sorry! Something went wrong, please try again.
(Flow ID: 45c7d31654613505, Time: 8/12/2026, 9:40:52 AM)

Please note that this is the second time when Confluence integration did not work during this summer. My previous request called “Simple Viewer in Confluence is broken” was about inability to use the simple view mode. It was resolved only after 1 month (for some reason, the topic is removed now).

The issue this time is even more serious because we can’t embed Lucidchart diagrams to Confluence pages at all!

@Nam Vu Thank you for following up with this information!

Could you please try the following steps and let me know how it goes?:

  1. Enable third-party cookies and storage access. To do that, click the lock/tune icon next to the URL bar in Confluence. Then, select Site settings or Cookies and site data. Lastly, ensure "Block third-party cookies" is turned OFF.
  2. You can also open an incognito or private browsing window. Then, log into Confluence and try inserting the /lucid macro again. If it works in incognito, this means that a browser extension (ad-blocker, privacy plugin, or security script) is blocking the iframe load. Try disabling extensions one by one in your primary browser.
  3. Lastly, ensure your IT/Network team has whitelisted the following domains across your firewalls and proxies:
  • *.lucid.app
  • *.lucidchart.com
  • *.lucidspark.com

Thank you for your continued help and patience!

Hi @Nam Vu, thank you for posting in the Community! I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue and I’ll be happy to help.

Would you mind providing me with the following information so I can take a closer look?

  • A description of steps you took leading up to the issue.
  • A screenshot of the associated Javascript Console output after reproducing the issue. You can open your Javascript Console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+J (if your computer is a Windows/Linux) OR Cmd+Opt+J (if your computer is a Mac).

Thanks for your help and patience!

Hi @Zuzia S !

Here are the steps to reproduce the error:

Insert a Lucidchart diagram

 See my screen recording:

  1. Open a Confluence page in Edit mode. Write “/” to open the context menu and select “Lucidchart Diagrams”.

  1. A new dialog appears, but instead of displaying Lucidchart Diagrams configuration, it disappears after 1 second, and a new error dialog window appears with text “Sorry! Something went wrong, please try again.”
  1. The Javascript log looks like this:

Notes:

  1. Similar error happens when we try to edit an existing Lucidchart diagram in a Confluence page.
  2. This error happens only with Confluence-Lucidchart integration. I can still embed draw.io diagram or Miro diagram into my Confluence pages normally.
  3. I checked Confluence integration settings, it looks fine.
