Hi There!

This guide will walk you through setting up the Azure DevOps (ADO) integration with your Lucid account. We recommend starting by reviewing the Integrate Lucid Cards with Azure DevOps Cloud Help Center article for a general overview.

Permissions & Setup

There are two ways to get started, both routes are outlined in the Setting up Lucid for Azure DevOps guide

  • Individual Users: You can set up the integration for yourself. You may need to request permissions from your internal IT team.
  • Account Admins: Admins can enable this for the entire account.

Step-by-Step Setup for Users

  1. Request Permissions: If you're a user, you may need to request the necessary permissions from your internal IT team.  Here is a guide on getting the proper permissions from your Organization.
  2. Authenticate with ADO: Once you have the permissions, you'll need to authenticate.
    • Open a Lucidspark board after the ADO integration has been connected.
    • Select the ADO Application from the right-hand toolbar.
  3. Authorize the Integration: An "Authorize" pop-up should appear.
    • First, make sure you are signed out of all your Microsoft accounts and the specific ADO instance you are trying to connect to.
    • Select Authorize and follow the prompts.
    • Accept the requested permissions. If you need to request admin approval, you can loop back to the first step.

Step-by-Step Setup for Admins

  1. Navigate to the Marketplace: Go to the Lucid Marketplace listing for the Lucid Cards for Azure DevOps integration.
  2. Connect for your Team: Select Connect and then Connect for my Team.
  3. User Access: After this, all users will see the Azure DevOps app in the right-hand toolbar of their Lucidspark boards and can connect from there.
