I am attempting to have two ERD objects with the same number of rows match height in my LucidChart document. Regardless of what settings I have in the document (snap to grid on / off, snap to guidelines on/off), I cannot use “Match Size > Height” or manually adjust the height of the smaller ERD object to match the height of the larger one.

I believe the left is taller because of some capital letters in the fields - these cannot be changed. I cannot find any kerning options to make the font heights consistent between the two shapes.

Please help me. This looks like trash and I’m used to being able to create professional looking diagrams with LucidChart.

Hi @Sasha-EE, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Taking a look at your screenshot, it looks like the second to last row in your first table has text on two lines, contributing to the larger size of that row. You can adjust the size by grabbing one of the tables, which will adjust the right side of the table first. Then, you can select the middle line to adjust the size of the left side. PI have attached a GIF to demonstrate this:

Please note, you can only scale the corners horizontally. However, if you scale your first table so that all text fits within one line, both of your tables should be the same height. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Ah. Yeah, I had figured out the thing with the two lines on the left table. I just really want to know why the shape controls don’t work correctly for the ERD object. I can resize a group of rows in Excel/Google Sheets/Numbers; why wouldn’t an ERD object in Lucid work the same way to size the object vertically based on the pixels I entered?

Or, another way to frame this problem - why does this control _appear_ to let me enter a number and hit enter, but then do nothing? Gray out the vertical pixels if that’s something I cannot change.

Hi @Sasha-EE, thank you following up! Our ERD Shapes behave differently to regular shapes due to the advanced options that are available. I apologize for the confusion with the height adjustment in the Shape Controls, as you can adjust the width but not the height since it will automatically adjust as Fields are added.
