Hi @az30 thanks for posting in the community! Some of our templates contain example spreadsheets which can be useful to get an understand of how to use a feature/function. You should be able to find the example spreadsheet shown in the video tutorial linked in the "Event Planning Dashboard" template found at the bottom of this Dynamic Shapes article.

Please note that the Data Linking feature is only available to Enterprise level accounts. However it is still possible to set the values associated with your dynamic shape using Custom Values and Formulas. For more information I recommend taking a look at the Dynamic Shapes article.
