I am working on a PID drawing but some components have a description under the parts a gear pump or angle valve are examples. How do I get rid of the description words that come with the symbol?

Thanks for your post. You can double-click into this text box and delete the text part of this object to remove the description. If you want your default shapes to not have this description you can add and customize shapes in Lucidchart from this without the text.

Thanks that worked I was clicking on the text not the symbol.
