Is there any way to keep the text in the confines of the shape. E.g. when typing the words will carry on outside the triangle instead of starting a new line below

Hi Jacob

It is not possible to lock an object to prevent it from enlarging when you add bullets. You can manually adjust the shape's size after adding the content if you want the content to carry on outside of the shape.

We're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your suggestion to our feature request form? This form allows our team to categorize like requests and bring them to our product team.

I am having exactly the same issue with decision boxes - any ideas anyone ?

Hi Steve

Thanks for reaching out on the community. There is no way to automatically have the text remain strictly within the confines of the shape but you can manually increase the size of the shape decrease the font size of the text or add new lines (Ctrl+Enter) within the shape to force the text to fit. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Hope this helps!
