Hi

I have created a large spider diagram (see snip). We would like to see whether we can create a similar picture based on imported data. The spider chart looks a bit like a social network diagram.

A data import based on a mindmap doesn't seem to provide the opportunity to connect two level 2 items with each other. Or the possibility to connect the root directly to the a level 3 item that has already been in use by another item.

So actually the question is: can we create an import data automation for a spider diagram within Lucidchart? If thats not possible what would be the smartest solution to get this done.

We are thinking of continuous updates on the visualisation of this spider diagram therefore a data import would do the job (of course some manual adjustment can always be done).

Thanks

Hi Stephan thanks for posting in the Lucidchart Community. Unfortunately this is currently not supported in Lucidchart. However we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form? Ideas submitted to this form are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.

Currently the best way to achieve this would be to manually adjust the diagram when needed. Thanks for your request and apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you!
