Unfortunately it is not currently possible to import just a portion of your data in creating an Org Chart. We're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that. Would you mind adding your idea to our feature request form? Ideas submitted to this form are passed on to the product development team for their consideration.

As a workaround however you do have a couple of options:

1. Assuming that your records are saved as a Google Sheet Excel file or CSV - you can follow the instructions provided in the Import Data section of our Org Chart article. Ensure that on step 12 of the "Import a Google Sheet Excel file or CSV" subsection you select to create multiple Org Charts based on a column of your choice and then select the section that corresponds to managers so that you will have a unique page created for each.


2. Copy the portion of your records (the specific manager and those who sit under them in the organization structure) to a separate Google Sheet Excel file or CSV. Import the data following the steps outlined in the Import Data section of our Org Chart article. An Org Chart will then be created which includes only the desired portion of your records that you had in that data file.
