Sequence diagrams

I just saw a LucidChart video on Sequence Diagrams and it showed drawing a line between lifelines on a seq diagram.  I can only draw lines to and from Activations .... how was that done?  


Also the video showed a person icon  with a lifeline (ATM example)... how did you do that?  There's not one available in the UML Sequence Diagram shapes.

Hi Robert! Thanks for reaching out in the community. To put lines between lifelines you have to drag the line/arrow from your shapes library on the left tool bar and then adjust size/position as needed. The arrow is under the "standard' library and is generally toward the top of your shape libraries. The "actor" icon can be found under the "UML Use Case" shape library. You can also just search "actor" in the search bar above your shape libraries and that will also pull it up. Hope this helps!
