Hi,


I have the feeling that I am facing a bug with the scale.

I set the scale of walls in a floor plan to 1m=1cm, my document is set to centimeter, my grid is set to 1cm, and yet, the grid is displayed with 1.56cm

 

Please see image below.

What am I missing or is this some kind of bug? I hoped to be able to use the tool for scale-sensitive purposes with my team.

You're right, likely seems to be a discrepancy between your scaling and the grid display.

 

Could you also give a try on these settings?

 

  • Verify that your document settings are indeed set to centimeters. Go to File > Document Settings and check the "Units" section.
  • Ensure the grid size is set to 1cm. In the Document Settings menu, navigate to the "Grid and Snapping" section and confirm the grid spacing.
  • Make sure you've applied the 1m = 1cm scale to the specific wall shapes you're working with. You can set the scale individually for each shape using the Shape Options panel.
