Is there a way to save files to desktop then reimport them later?

Thanks for reaching out! I'm happy to help. In the top left corner of your editor select File > Export > download as any file type you'd like. Once you've downloaded it this file will now be on your computer and you can move it to your Desktop or any other folder you'd like. You can't import once you've downloaded a document onto your computer. However if you back up your documents to Google Drive you would then will be able to reimport them.
