SAML/Google Roles | Community

Hello

I've integrated SAML everything is working fine. However I've perused the documents and haven't found an answer to my question to see if the Lucid* apps support SAML Roles or mapping Google Descriptions to add users automatically to groups that are created in the Lucid* apps.

I have several groups that are created under a team and they are named exactly what their SAML role or Google Description would be. I'd like to pass that through to automatically add them to said groups.

If anyone has some insight it would be appreciated. Thank you. :)

Thanks for posting! What you are trying to do is only possible with a SCIM connection and is currently only supported if you are using Okta as your identity provider or if you build a custom SCIM app.

Please see the Okta SAML and SCIM integration for instructions on how to set this up if you are using Okta as your IDP.
