How do I get rid of the check mark due to the box having "Approval" in it?

Thank you for posting in the Lucid community! Our sincere apologies for the delayed response on this thread - I wanted to follow up in case this answer may still be useful to you and to provide a solution for other users who see this thread in the future.

I am including an article from the Lucid Help Desk here that covers conditional formatting.

In the image above you can find how to navigate to conditional formatting. Once there you can manage rules make conditions visible or invisible or even delete them all together.
