I understand that I can change the default font for my document by creating a text box typing in it changing the font manually and then right-clicking the text box and selecting "Set Default Style."

If I do this would this only change my default text style or would it also change the default text style for other users at my company?

Hi David

Thank you for posting in the Lucid Community great question! Setting a default style will only affect the individual document the style has been set on. If the document is shared with other users default styles will carry over and shapes added will continue to follow the set styling on the document.

If you set a default style on one document the settings will not carry over to new or old documents created by you or other users at your company.
