Trying to duplicate a shape using the following actions in Windows or Chromebook:
- Move mouse to point to shape. Left click to select.
- While holding left mouse button, drag shape some distance, then press Alt key briefly to cause shape to be copied.
- Move mouse to desired location of duplicate shape.
- Release left mouse button.
Problem: upon release of left mouse button, shape position will jump away from last displayed position.
