Perpendicular lines

Hi

Is there a way to force a line to run perpendicular to an object. I am creating network diagrams whereIi have one hard wide line to represent a VLAN and then a number of icons that represent the objects on the network. i want to create lines that join the objects to the correct VLAN. What I want is for the lines to always be vertical or horizontal - not at any other angle . So if I move the object or resize the VLAN object I want my line ending to slide along the line.

Can i do this or is this a feature request.

Hi Anna

Thanks for posting on the community. You can force a line to become horizontal or vertical while holding the SHIFT key while clicking/dragging the line. If that is not what you are trying to do do you mind providing me a screenshot of the VLAN object and how you would like the line to appear in relation to it? Thanks!
