I know this was answered approximately 5 months ago. I wanted to try out Lucidchart especially since I could import a Visio file to work with. Well I have found I don't have permission to edit my own work. Which means I have to start from scratch to see if this is something I want to subscribe to in the future.
Any advice?

Thanks for posting in the community! This most likely has to do with your account type. All Lucidchart users are able to use the Visio import feature and will be able to see their diagrams in Lucidchart. However because this is a premium feature only Pro and Team users will be able to edit imported diagrams. If you'd like to try out Lucidchart's full functionality with Visio I'd recommend signing up for a free Premium Account trial. Please let me know if you have further questions.
