How can I create a new field in a “field of employees” ?

Hi Federico, thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! You can add an employee field by selecting your org chart, then opening the Layout tab. Within the Employee Fields dropdown, you can both check a box to add a field that already exists in your dataset but isn’t yet visible on your employee tiles, or create a new field entirely by clicking the + button.

Hi,

I do not have a “+” button.

What do I need to do to enable it ?

@Altmak Thanks for continuing this thread! I suspect that within your org chart, you have a specific employee tile selected, rather than the org chart as a whole. Because field settings apply to all employees, this is only accessible when you’ve selected the entire chart. To do so, simply hover over your org chart and single-click or click on the frame bordering the chart. If you click again on a specific employee to select them, you’ll see that the + disappears. I’ve demonstrated all of this in the GIF below:
