If a family owns various entities like trusts, companies, etc. I’d like to create a visual representation of this. So far I can only find org charts within 1 entity which is not what I want. 
I’d like something like this: 

 

Hi @Mitch Schoers, thanks for your post! While it is not possible to connect employees on the same reporting level with the default org chart functionality, I have recorded a workaround which should still help you achieve this with org chart shapes:
