Need Assistance Getting Started with Lucidchart

I think the above describes my menial issues I am desperate to learn

Hi Patrick thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! We're glad you're and are happy to help. I recommend that you take a look at some of the resources from the Lucidchart Help Center which detail step-by-step instructions at a basic level for all Lucidchart features. A few that might be helpful as you're getting started:

• Get Started with Lucidchart: This will familiarize you with the Lucidchart editor and the various toolbars and buttons. In particular I recommend the "Diagramming Basics" section which illustrates some of the actions you mentioned above like moving objects or adding text to a shape. 
• Work with shapes in Lucidchart: This article describes shapes in more detail including how to format and style them.
• Work with text in Lucidchart: This article describes text in more detail including style and formatting options. 
• Work with lines in Lucidchart: This article describes creating and modifying lines in more detail including how to style and format them.
